GUIDANCE NOTES FOR G.A.S.
CLUB RECORDS OFFICERS

County Team Selection 2009

Archers who achieve MB or above during the season will automatically be selected.
The county selection shoots remain the Cleve Spring tournament, Black and Gold Spring and Summer Tournaments, Minchinhampton, one of the shoots from the Dunster second weekend, Cheltenham Summer tournament, Tockington, County Championships.

Any archer who wishes to be considered for the team must submit scores from at least two of the nominated county selection shoots.

In addition, archers may submit scores from any record status tournament even if these coincide with the weekend of a nominated selection shoot.

It is the responsibility of any archer who wishes to be considered for the county team to submit his/her scores and MB qualifications to the county's records officer, John Godfrey.

All scores are eligible for County Records if they are shot in accordance with the G.N.A.S. Rules of Shooting.

Please remember to specify:

a) The name of the round.

b) Where shot - the name of the Tournament or if Club Target Day.

c) The name of the archer.

d) For Adults - whether Male or Female.

e) For Juniors - Gender and Date of Birth.

f) The type of bow - recurve, longbow, compound.

The TOURNAMENT scores required for Team Selection are:

Gentlemen - York and FITA (men’s) rounds.

Ladies - Hereford and FITA (ladies) rounds.

Boys - Bristol I, Metric I and above.

Girls - Bristol II, Metric II and above.

All Juniors are eligible for Team Selection provided the relevant Tournament scores are sent in.
Scores must be sent in regularly (i.e. at least once a month) to the
County Records Officer.
Scores received after the 15th AUGUST will be included.
