Criteria for Selection of the Gloucestershire Archery Society Senior County Team for the GWAS Intercounties Tournament.

At the GAS Management Committee meeting on 27th January 2010 it was decided to establish a County ranking list. Archers who wish to be considered are required to submit their three best scoresby 15th August 2010 to John Godfrey, County Records Officer.

IT IS THE TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY OF INDIVIDUAL ARCHERS WISHING TO BE CONSIDERED TO ENSURE THIS HAPPENS.

Team selection will be decided by the Team Manager, CCO, County Records Officer, and two others to be co-opted as required.

Attached is the form to be used to submit the scores on. Apart from being downloadable here it will also be available (in limited supplies), at tournaments around the county

Senior Team to comprise:-

7 Gents Recurve

5 Gents Compound

2 Gents LongBow

5 Ladies Recurve

3 Ladies Compound

2 Ladies LongBow

plus one non-shooting reserve in each category.

Lowest score in each bow type regardless of gender to be dropped.
Junior Team to comprise:-

A mixed team of eight archers with up to 2 compounds

No more than 2 archers per age group
